I'm continually amazed by how much I have to learn about bicycle care. After all these years, I would have thought I knew how to clean a chain, but obviously I had it completely wrong. Check out this definitive guide to chain cleaning offered by Sheldon Brown.

This was fun!!! It sounded pretty incredible, particularly when all those cleaning kits contained the same items with excalating costs for the “status” named ones. I wonder if anyone ordered the kits before discovering it was all a joke.
I didn’t even know chains needed cleaned and oiled.
